Can a PTA run without a treasurer? If you are registered as a charity, you MUST have a treasurer. But there are no official rules that the treasurer must attend meetings. However, if you are set up as a charity you will have a constitution (written by each pta) and it may say in the constitution that the elected people must attend meetings.
